LUNA HANDICRAFT SEWING SERVICES is a local enterprise developed and established by Kalihukan sa Panaad Marketing Cooperative (KPMACO) to manufacture “TACLOB Bags” in the Province of Dinagat Islands.

The enterprise is a group of women trained to achieve the “Sewing Expertise” of manufacturing our top-of-the-line Taclob Bag Brand, thus, creating a livelihood opportunity for them as KPMACO continue to find new markets for the said product.

Taclob, in itself, is a social enterprise established by our partner NGO CourageousCompassion Inc. in Tacloban City following the Yolanda aftermath. Taclob is a group of women-powered textile manufacturing facility organized to bring livelihood with the objective of re-igniting their economic activities. The same objective is desired by Kalihukan sa Panaad Marketing Cooperative (KPMACO) with the added thrust of providing a Sales & Marketing Platform for these products.

While LUNA HANDICRAFT SEWING SERVICES focus on their skillful manufacturing, KPMACO looks into strategic marketing activities to expand awareness and demand.

This and all are centered to ensure a sustainable enterprise that would uplift the economic condition of our Sewers, and therefore, their families.
